Chrome Extension Privacy Policy

Primax Lead Linkifier is a Chrome extension published by Primax AI Pty Ltd (ABN 71 680 726 158). It finds plain-text Primax lead links (developer.primaxlaunch.com/lead/…) on web pages, turns them into clickable links, and shows the lead in Chrome’s side panel.

This policy covers the extension only. Personal information handled by the Primax platform is covered by the Primax Privacy Policy.

What the extension collects

Nothing. The extension does not collect, transmit or sell any personal information, browsing history or page content. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no server belonging to the extension.

How it processes page content

To find lead links, the extension reads the text of pages you visit inside your own browser. That text is examined in memory, matched against the single pattern https://developer.primaxlaunch.com/lead/, and then discarded. It is never stored, logged or sent anywhere. No other part of the page is read or modified.

What it stores on your device

  • One setting: whether lead links open in the side panel. It is kept in Chrome’s extension storage and syncs with your Chrome profile.
  • The address of the lead currently shown in the side panel, held only for the duration of the browser session so the panel can render it.

Both stay on your device. Neither is readable by Primax or any third party. Removing the extension deletes them.

Third parties

The extension shares no data with anyone. Lead pages displayed in the side panel are loaded directly from developer.primaxlaunch.com by your browser, exactly as they would be in a normal tab, and are covered by the Primax Privacy Policy linked above.

Permissions and why they are needed

  • Access to the pages you visit — lead links can appear anywhere you work, such as webmail, a CRM or a chat tool, so the extension must be able to scan page text for them. You can limit it to chosen sites in Chrome’s extension settings.
  • Side panel — to open the lead preview.
  • Storage — for the two items listed above.

Children

The extension is a business tool and is not directed at children.
